Dry Ice Disclaimer

We are trying to deliver most of the orders with our own fleet of drivers and refrigerated vans. For orders that are sent out with third-party delivery companies, we are using dry ice, in this way we can assure you that the frozen goods will arrive at their final destination having the right temperature.

In those cases, we pack frozen goods in insulated temperature-controlled foil punches with enough dry ice to keep the contents perfectly frozen. It gets colder inside that box than it does in your freezer: -78.5°C.

HOW DO YOU KEEP THE FROZEN GOODS UNDER THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE DURING SHIPPING?

Frozen goods are packaged with enough dry ice to keep them cold for the duration of transit. We recommend immediately transferring the frozen goods to your freezer as soon as you receive the shipment, so they don’t thaw out.

HOW DO I DISPOSE OF THE DRY ICE IN MY SHIPMENT?

Very carefully! We wrap the dry ice in brown paper and it will be on top when you open your box, it’s the first thing you’ll see! You may put the paper-wrapped dry ice in a bowl and place it in a well-ventilated area, away from pets and children. The dry ice will dissipate over time and when gone, you may recycle the brown paper it was wrapped in. Do not open and touch the dry ice with your bare hands as it may cause burns from the extreme cold.

HOW FAST WILL THE FROZEN ITEMS BE SHIPPED TO ME?

Due to the logistics of shipping frozen and ensuring your goods arrive in a timely (and frozen) manner on your doorstep, we have a set Shipping Schedule based on your location. We are doing our best to serve all areas across the UK, with our own drivers and refrigerated vans. Although some areas can not be covered by our own fleet, we ship via a third-party delivery company, UPS. All orders shipped via UPS are sent via their express service, for next-day delivery before 12 pm (next-day delivery after processing and dispatch). The Shipping Schedule may change during weeks that contain a UPS holiday.
